I currently race at the Petaluma Speedway in Petaluma California in the Super Stock racing class. Among my pit crew is my Father-in-law Doug Capanacci & my best friend David Blanchard. In the stands cheering me on each week is my Mother-in-law Dee, my beautiful wife Lisa Marie and our two boys Christopher and Harrison. At home (where they would much rather be) wishing me the best and hoping we will get home soon, is our Boston Bull Terrier Scoobee
I have always loved racing and have a competitive nature so it only made sense to get out there and do it. I have a great time racing and learn new things each day. "Life is fast, race hard".
Our Recent
Achievements:
§2003
15th
in All Pro points standings out of 51
competitors.
§This
was Michael's first season competing at this level and he
shows great potential in all skills required of
this particular motorsport.
§Even
though he started racing half way through the season, Michael still
placed higher than others who had participated
the entire year.
§Michael
won the Petaluma Speedway 2003 Rookie
Trophy Dash after competing in
only 9 events.
2004 Competitive Goals:
§Compete
for the Championship
in the Super Stock class at Petaluma Speedway.
§Compete
for Trophy Dash and Heat race
victories.
§Compete
for most improved driver
award.
§Increase
participation and compete in over
30 events in
Northern California.
§In
2004 we will have a brand new
1981 Camaro body for the race car from
Performance Auto Bodies.
